Alright, as much as I hate being like those people that post about cool things they buy just so other people can be jealous, this IS a personal blog so I AM obligated to do such things. Besides, it’s not like anybody will read this. 

I went to a bunch of garage and estate sales today, with the family. The weather was hot, I was close to passing out, and I made the stupid mistake of buying a can of soda (diet Pepsi lime, yuck) instead of water. But besides that, I snagged some cool (and cheap) stuff!

First off, an adorable teacup, which is my namesake. 

The vertical lines are what sold me. So much class, so much delicate detailing. The best way to drink milk, right here. 

Secondly, a really neat necklace that some old lady made. Very gearpunk. 

Thirdly, a lacy-looking blouse thing? A bit short, but nice looking. 

And lastly, my Piece de Resistance, my favorite and first-bought item…

An axe. 

That’s right, I bought a goddamn AXE. 

Look at it. So sleek, so medieval, the essence of brute force on a stick. Truly my greatest find and purchase. Also, it was either this or a broken flintlock gun. Ooo the choices… The house that had this baby had a bunch of other really neat things, like old hats and typewriters. And more weapons, gosh they were so cool.
